Gaining some independence...AND smiles

I am beginning to enjoy independence by being in my chair or crib just watching the world go round...or the mobile with the sporty animals.  Sometimes I cry until mommy puts me in my chair and then I just watch the things around me.  Mommy and daddy are making me smile more which is they think is fun.  I eat more and more each day and am growing by the minute.
